Course Overview
The course focuses on hands-on system design aligned with industrial standards (IEC/IEEE), making it suitable for electrical engineers, designers, and students aiming to work in power plants, substations, industrial facilities, and EPC projects. By the end of the course, learners will be capable of developing safe, efficient, and compliant electrical power system designs using ETAP.
Course Objectives
- 01To develop a strong understanding of electrical power system design concepts, including Single Line Diagrams (SLD), system components, and design standards. /li>
- 02To enable learners to effectively use ETAP for modelling, simulation, and analysis of electrical power systems.
- 03To perform and interpret various power system studies such as load flow, short circuit, motor starting, and transient analysis for real-world applications.
- 04To design and analyse protection systems, including relay coordination, differential protection, and arc flash safety assessment.
- 05To apply engineering principles for sizing and optimization of system components such as transformers, cables, capacitors, and batteries, including integration of renewable energy systems
