Course Overview
The course focuses on industry-oriented electrical design and engineering documentation using EPLAN Electric P8 and EPLAN Pro Panel, aligned with international standards (IEC/IEEE/NFPA). It is designed for electrical design engineers, panel builders, automation engineers, EPC companies, OEMs, and manufacturing industries.
By the end of this course, learners will be capable of designing complete electrical schematics, PLC control systems, terminal plans, cable schedules, panel layouts, and manufacturing documentation using EPLAN
Course Objectives
- 01
To develop a strong understanding of Computer-Aided Electrical Engineering (CAE) concepts using EPLAN Electric P8. - 02
To create professional electrical schematics including power, control, PLC, instrumentation, and distribution systems. - 03
To design electrical panels following IEC standards and industrial engineering practices. - 04
To perform terminal, cable, wire numbering, and cross-reference management automatically. - 05
To generate engineering reports including Bill of Materials (BOM), cable schedules, terminal plans, wire lists, and device reports. - 06
To develop 2D panel layouts and 3D panel models using EPLAN Pro Panel.
